Labor Day at the beach

We got to spend Labor Day with Chris' brother Bill, his wife, Wendy, and their kids, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Will. Everyone had fun swimming in the Gulf and playing in the sand. Some of us even went down the super slide.

Chris had all of the kids fascinated when he dug all the way down until he hit water (which really isn't that far when you live in Florida).

Luke and I hung out together while Chris played with the big kids.

Luke enjoyed the beach, too. He had a nice cozy spot in the shade.

Super Slide

Chris and I took Kayden down the super slide at the beach. We were sure we could atleast get her to go down it one time (since she had no idea what she was in for). Now getting her to go again after that was another question...

Kayden surprised us both by running to get back in line as soon as she got down to the bottom. I think she would have stayed on the slide all day.

Volleyball Fun

Our friends, Dan and Cathy, had some people over to play volleyball and have a cookout this past weekend. Fun was had by all.

Kayden had fun playing in the pool with Dan and Cathy's son, Jacob.

Kayden decided she didn't particularly like being inside the playhouse. She thought maybe someone would pull her out the window, since Jacob was blocking the door.

Kayden had fun playing with her cousins, Lauren, and Will at their birthday party this weekend. Their birthdays are a week apart, so they celebrated it together. Lauren turned five and Will is three. Lauren, is the one in the middle. I think Will was probably off playing with more "manly" toys. :)

Dirty Diaper

These guys get the #1 Dad award...they actually changed diapers while they were out. We've even got the picture to prove it...well, okay, we can prove Thomas changed a diaper while the others looked on

Wishing for some pool time

After such a hot day of fun at the park, the pool looked pretty good!

Chris recently took Kayden to the park along with two of his friends, Thomas and Jon, and their little girls, Lydia and Justina. The moms all got a little bit of a break for the day, and the girls had a blast hangin' out with their dads. They really are a bunch of daddy's girls.
